JoEthel Smith has been fighting Bladder Cancer since September of 2015. Ove that time, she has had numerous rounds of chemotherapy in hopes of winning the battle with this disease. On October 10, 2017, JoEthel had her bladder removed. It is our hope that this procedure will prolong her amazing life. Many of her friends and family describe her as “Mrs. Lakewood” and the person who is always there to support any and everyone in our community.
